POSPONED due to heat!!

Two Day Brownwood Fieldtrip, June 2nd and 3rd

Contact Polly Mullinnex pollym@airmail.net  Cell: 903 916-0083 to sign up and for any  questions.

This is an open trip but request you sign up with me (Polly) so I can keep you abreast of scheduling updates.  You may hunt both or just one day. We will meet at McDonalds in Brownwood at 9am on both days.  We will  be hunting the Pennsylvanian Epoch around Brownwood including the Wilson clay pit and a site near Lake Brownwood for some very nice coral specimens.  I am also trying to arrange for us to visit a Permian site in the area.  Warning:  This is prime rattlesnake country. Be careful and aware, make noise and never reach or walk where you have not looked very carefully.

NOTE: We will not be hunting the Lake Brownwood Spillway and do not recommend it.

Lake  Brownwood State Park has camping and there are several hotels in Brownwood for those wanting to hunt both days.  If you wish to hook up with others that will be camping please let me know and, at your request, I will put you in contact with your fellow campers.
