Possible Horseshoe Bend Field Trip

November 9th

Possible date for collecting fossils along the Red River on private property in Oklahoma.  We will be collecting the Duck Creek Formation of the lower Cretaceous.  In the past we have found wonderful examples of some th the largest ammonites found in Texas and Oklahoma.  This trip is dependent on water level in the Red River, so we will be monitoring the water level, and will confirm the date if things ar looking favorable closer to November 9th.

Details to come.
