40th Anniversary

This November will mark the 40th anniversary of the founding of the Dallas Paleontological Society. Woo hoo! This event will be at our regular meeting night in November, on November 13th, at 6:30 pm. − We will have a catered dinner starting at 6:30 pm. − At 7 pm we will have a special presentation given by Dr. Louis L. Jacobs, Emeritus Professor President, Institute for the Study of Earth and Man at SMU. − Afterwards we will have a short presentation about the History of the Dallas Paleontological Society. − Oh, and CAKE! − If you would like to help set up for the dinner and/or serve food, please contact Pam at treasurer@dallaspaleo.org or Dana at secretary@dallaspaleo.org

Who we are

The DPS is a group of professional and amateur paleontologists that want to exchange information, interact, and continue their education in paleontology. We meet once a month on the second Wednesday evening of the month at Brookhaven College, Building H.
